On May 28, 2025, the 22nd Oderpark Lake Run took place in Hattorf, which recorded a record number of participants despite the rainy weather. Just in time for the start of the first race, the Bambini Run over 800m, the heavens opened, but the children remained undeterred and crossed the finish line happily. In the subsequent children's race over 2 km, Anabel Wiegand achieved 1st place in her age group and 2nd place overall. The participants of the 5.2 km course also demonstrated their enthusiasm for running, and the event was once again regarded as very enjoyable.

Highlights

  • The kids weren't deterred by the weather and arrived at the finish line wet but very happy, and they received their medal right away.
  • Anabel Wiegand secured 1st place in the U12 age group in the children's race over 2 km with a time of 9:41 minutes and finished 2nd overall.
  • Karin Ahfeldt finished in 4th place in the 5.2 km race with a time of 29:20 minutes.
